- The Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County will host an evening of blues and American Roots music with musician Noah Shull on Wednesday, June 26, 7:00 p.m. The evening is co-sponsored by Friends of the Library as part of the “Groundbreaking Reads” Adult Summer Reading Program. An accomplished resophonic and acoustic guitar player, Shull has been playing blues and Americana music for half of his life. His music and style are the epitome of Americana music—full of the grit and grime that built the blues. Shull has a successful recording career as “Front Porch Revival” with partner Steve Fry.
