On 2-2-17, an officer was dispatched to an E. High St. address on a report of a burglary. The officer spoke with the complainant who advised several construction tools were missing. A report was taken.
On 2-2-17, an officer was dispatched to as W, Vine St. address on a reported fraud. The officer spoke to the complainant who stated he cashed a bad check and sent part of the check by money order. A report was taken.
On 2-2-17, an officer was dispatched to a Cottage St. address on a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival the officer made contact with male who was advised to leave the area as he had no business there. Later the officer was dispatched to the same address. The same male was there and he was issued a citation and advised to leave the area and not to return.
On 2-2-17, an officer responded to a W. Vine St. address on a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the complainant who stated her son and finance were in the house and started screaming. The son broke out a window and did damage to the door while trying to get inside Photographs and a witness statement were taken. A report will be forwarded to the prosecutor for review.
On 2-2-17, officers were dispatched to a W. Vine St address on a parking complaint. Upon arrival officers made contact with the complainant and towed the vehicle to the city impound lot.
On 2-2-17, an officer made contact with the complainant at an Oakway Dr. residence on a report of a burglary. The complainant showed the officer damage done to a door jamb on a door leading from the garage to a finished room off the garage. The complainant said the suspect had gained entry on numerous occasions. Asked why she had not called before, the complainant said she did not want to get the suspect in trouble. She said she called this time because of the damage done to the door jamb as she was not the owner of the house. The suspect had left his driver's license on a table and the complainant had collect the license and a white powdery substance and placed them in an envelope. The envelope was collected and placed into evidence. The complainant was advised to call the police if the suspect returned and she did not want him there.
