A theft of change,CD's and a metal Dallas Cowboys sign was reported stolen from a Howard Street resident.
On 3-15-17, the landlord of an E. Ohio Ave. property stated he found property at the residence left by the former tenants. The items included two syringes, one having a liquid substance inside. The items were seized and placed into found property at the MVPD for destruction at a later date.
On 3-15-17, an officer met with the Loss Prevention Associate of a Coshocton Ave. Business. The associate had detained a suspect who had been observed placing two packages of beef jerky in his pants pocket and attempting to leave without paying. The officer found the suspect cooperative and apologetic. The suspect was given a summons for petty theft and told he was never to be on the property of the business again. A copy of the store's surveillance tape was made and given to the officer to place into evidence. Body camera assigned to car #3 was in use during the call.
On 3-15-17, an officer was traveling eastbound on Adamson St. and saw the north door of a S. Main St. building as open, Another officer responded to the situation and the two officers checked the interior of the residence. It was vacant and nothing appeared to be missing. Dispatch attempted to contact the owner of the residence and left a message. The officers closed the door but were unable to secure it due to a faulty lock set.
On 3-8-17, Stephanie Carson, 31, Fredericktown, was arrested and charged with illegal use or possession of drugs and possession of drugs.
On 3-14-17, Alisha Davis, 33 address unknown, was arrested for two outstanding warrants.
On 3-14-17, Anthony Ferrell, 35, Prospect St. was cited for speeding.

On 3-15-17, Chad Behner, 32, Beech St. was arrested for theft.
On 3-15-17, Naomi Mickley was southbound on N. Main St. and Chad A. Snyder was eastbound on W. Chestnut St. Snyder struck Mickley in the intersection. Both drivers claimed to have had the green light.
