On 3-18-17, a deputy located about 20 separate piles of nails on Gilchrist Rd. The county highway department was notified and arrived on the scene to clean up the nails. Two victims needed reports for insurance purposes because of damage caused by the nails to their tires.

On 3-18-17, deputies responded to a report of a disturbance at a Lakeview Heights Dr. address. The complainant, Athelia G. McKeone, was upset because she said her landlord was trying to evict her and her family, McKeone stated the landlord was the father of her ex-boyfriend and they had a verbal agreement to pay rent, which she had been doing, Mckeone said the landlord wanted the house to live in now since moving back from Florida. The deputies found McKeone to be evasive about identifying herself saying at one point her name was Emily G. Lampp and at another point she gave her name as Emily Ann Lampp. After some investigation deputies finally identified the complainant as Athelia G. McKeone and that she had multiple warrants out of Florida and Missouri with full extradition.
McKeone was arrested on the warrants and transported to the Knox County Jail to be held.

On 3-16-17, a report of stolen gift cards was reported from an E. Vine St. location. The victim stated the cards were left in his vehicle that was parked in his garage. The victim said the garage door had been left open during the night and discovered missing in the morning. There are no suspects at this time.

On 3-17-17, three officers were dispatched to a North Main St. address on a complaint of domestic violence. The officers made contact with the parties involved as well as an independent witness. The witness stated she saw Alexander Blain push and hit the victim. The victim and witness both stated they had been in a verbal altercation. The victim stated she could not remember whether Blain had struck her or not. Blain was arrested for domestic violence. During search of Blain incidental to the arrest a hypodermic needle was found in his pocket. He stated he did not have a prescription for the needle and was issued a summons for possession of drug abuse instruments. He was transported to the Knox County Jail.

On 3-17-17, an officer was dispatched to a N. Gay St. address on a report of an inactive disturbance. The complainant stated she and her fiance were arguing and it escalated. A witness statement was completed. The complainant declined to press charges and requested information reference a civil matter.

On 3-18-17, officers responded to a Locust St. address in reference to a disturbance complaint. Upon arrival an officer observed a male matching the description given crossing over N. Sandusky St. into a backyard on N. Sandusky St. The suspect, identified as Randolph McGregor, was asked what he was doing there. McGregor said he was checking on a job application. An officer made contact with the owner of the house who stated McGregor never filled out a job application and wasn't welcome on the property. McGregor was arrested for criminal trespass and trans ported to the Knox County Jail.

On 3-18-17, an officer responded to a South Main St. Business on a theft complaint. A statement was taken from the complainant and photographs of the scene were taken. The suspect is unknown and the investigation was closed and will be reopened if a suspect is identified or any leads developed.

On 3-19-17, units were dispatched to E. Hamtramck St. on a report of a disturbance., While checking the parties involved Meagan A. McGrady was found to have an outstanding warrant. McGrady was secured in handcuffs and transported to the Knox County Jail.

On 3-19-17, an officer met with the complainant in reference to an inactive disturbance on N. Mulberry St. Complainant stated a female threatened to kill him. The complainant also said there was a male witness who wanted to fill out a witness statement. A report was forwarded to the prosecutor's office for review.

On 3-19-17, a female came to the MVPD to report a theft. She said her bookbag was taken from her friend's vehicle while it was parked on N. Sandusky St. The investigation continues.
