On 4-16-17, a complainant reported a nail punctured his motorcycle tire while traveling on Country Club Dr. in Howard. He requested the incident be documented.

On 4-15-17, a male called the Knox County Sheriff's Office and advised that sometime between Friday April 14, 2017 and the following Saturday morning, unknown suspects entered his premises on New Castle Rd. in Gambier without his permission. Work papers were scattered on the floor in his office but nothing has been reported missing. There are no suspects at this time.

On 4-14-17, a call was made to the KCSO by a male who said he was mowing on a property on Upper Fredericktown Rd. when he found a bag containing drug paraphernalia. The bag was collected by the KCSO and placed into evidence for destruction at a later date.

On 4-14-17, a female called the KCSO to reports had been thrown at her house on Monroe Mills Rd. in Howard. She said the eggs damaged some of the siding on the house. There are no suspects at this time.

On 4-14-17, at approximately 11:39 a.m. an officer responded to an E. Gambier St. address on a report of a disturbance. The complainant stated a female took her mom's van and drove it to work. The complainant stated the female started yelling at them. The complainant completed a written statement and a report was taken. The female was taken to probation and released. Nothing further to report.

On 4-14-17. units were dispatched to Knox Community Hospital on a report of a disturbance being caused by Allison Taylor. Upon arrival it was discovered that Taylor had been brought in by Fredericktown Police Department and pink slipped. After waking up in the afternoon, Taylor became disruptive, was yelling, pounding on the walls and pushing staff members. Taylor was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct with persisting at a medical facility. She was transported to the Knox County Jail and released to the jail staff without further incident.

On 4-15-17, an officer was patrolling in the area of Cedar and Boynton streets when he noticed a parked vehicle with a registration that indicated it was a stolen vehicle. The officer made contact with the resident at the Cedar St. address who indicated she had recently driven it from Canton. The officer contacted Canton Police who indicated the vehicle should be impounded and they would contact the owner. The suspect is incarcerated at the Stark County Jail.

On 4-15-17, an officer responded to 855 Coshocton Ave. in reference to a theft from a vehicle. The victim stated that her vehicle wads parked on the north side of Boost Mobile while she went to Dollar General. When she returned she noticed her vehicle was unlocked and her black LG Silo cell phone was stolen. She stated the phone was worth $200 and was in a purple case. There are no suspects at this time.

On 4-15-17, an officer responded to an Ann St. address in reference to a 35-year-old male who had overdosed. When the officer arrived he found Mount Vernon medics treating the male. Medics stated to the officer they had found a black eyeglass case in the male's front pocket. The case contained two syringes and a spoon with residue on it. The officer took possession of the items and later logged then into evidence. The male was transported to Knox Community Hospital for treatment. The officer provided him with a Summons in Lieu of Arrest for possession of a Drug Abuse Instrument, ORD. 513.04. The officer later found a crystal substance hidden in the lining of the eyeglass case.

On 4-16-17, an officer responded to 1575 Coshocton Ave. in reference to a shoplifting complaint. Upon arrival the officer made contact with the complainant who had detained a male and female in the security office. The complainant advised he had seen the male selecting items on a receipt from the shelves and placing them in a cart. The male then completed the fraudulent return of the items for refunds. The complainant stopped the male and female before they exited the store. The female admitted she had been telling the male what to do and that it was her idea. The officer charged the female with petty theft and the male with complicity and advised them both of their court date.
