On 5-16-17, the Kenyon College Safety officer contacted the KCSO when he discovered marijuana and paraphernalia outside Mather Hall. It was confiscated by the KCSO to be destroyed at at later date.

On 5-15-17, the complainant - the Harcourt Rd. Grab & Dash Shell station - advised the KCSO that two suspects entered the store and one of them took a bottle of alcohol without paying for it.

On 5-14-17, the complainant advised the KCSO that between 5 p.m. on May 14 and 5 a.m. on May 15 his rear car window was shot out with what he believes is a BB gun. The complainant advised that the window had a small indent in it with cracks and when he shut the door all the glass shattered and fell out.

On 5-15-17, while on patrol, on Howard St. near South Division St, an officer noticed two hypodermic syringes lying in the middle of the street. The officer informed dispatch collected the syringes and secured them in the car's sharps container.

On 5-15-17, an officer was dispatched to a McKenzie St. residence on the report of a suspicious person with a possible mental health issue. Upon arrival, the officer spoke to the complainant and a 16-year-old male. The officer took the male back home and contacted his parents. A report was taken for documentation purposes. Nothing further to report at this time.

On 5-15-17, two officers responded to an address on Brook Run Court in response to a report of an unsecured building. The officers arrived and determined the building was unsecured. A walk-through was conducted and the building appeared to have been vacated. The officers were able to secure the door and make contact with the owner. The investigation has been closed.

On 5-15-17, an officer responded to an address on Taylor Road. The complainant stated there had been telephone harassment. The matter remains under investigation.

On 5-15-17, an officer responded to a North Gay St. address in response to a threats complaint. The complainant stated she had received threats via text message from her soon to be ex-husband. The complainant stated her husband was upset because she had picked up their daughter from school. The report will be forwarded to the prosecutor's office for review.

On 5-15-17, Wesley Young, 23, Columbus, was cited for driving under suspension/revocation and charged with drug abuse and possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia.
