9/26/17 - Dispatch reported they were contacted by a caller using 9-1-1 reporting they were almost hit by an officer on Sychar Road.
9/24/17 - At approximately 1:15 P.M. an officer responded to a W. Pleasant St. address in response to a possible burglary. The investigation is ongoing.
9/26/17 - A caller reported a found hypodermic needle with an orange cap. The caller stated the syringe was near the viaduct railing on the bridge behind the Comfort Inn. When the officer arrived on the scene he located the hypodermic needle and placed it in the sharps container in patrol car #5. The needle will be destroyed at a later date.
9/27/17 - At approximately 8:05 P.M. an officer responded to the area of N. Center and E. Chestnut Streets in reference to a hypodermic needle on the roadway. When the officer arrived on the scene he found it. The needle had been run over and broken. It was placed in the sharps container of car 7.
9/27/17 - An abandoned vehicle with Ohio license plate number GMT 9032 was reported to the Mount Vernon Police Department.
9/27/17 - An officer was sent to a Marion St. address in reference to a burglary in progress. When the officer arrived kn the scene he spoke with the complainant. The complaint told him that when he arrived home he observed two males tryting to load a washing machine that was behind his garage into a truck. The officer made contact with the suspect who was issued a summons for criminal trespass.
9/22/17 - Thomas Kemmer, 44, Fredericktown, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
9/26/17 - Jessica Joslin, 34, Cornish Rd. was arrested and charged with theft, criminal trespass, and possessing a drug abuse instrument.
9/26/17 - Travis Miller, 34, Cornish Rd. was arrested and charged with theft.
9/27/17 - Isaiah McPeak, 36, N. Mulberry St. was charged with criminal trespass.
9/27/17 - The complainant came to the KCSO to make a report on a case of fraud., She stated that while on vacation in Canada she got a text message from what she thought was her bank She called what she thought was her bank and gave them some information because they said her bank card had been compromised. She later found out that two withdrawals totaling $6050.00 were made within 1 minute of giving the information. The money was wired to an individual via Western Union.
9/27/17 - An officer was dispatched to a Henry Rd. address on a report of domestic violence. The victim had minor apparent injuries. Michael A. Eaken was charged with assault and domestic violence.
9/27/17 - Officers were dispatched to a Woods Church Rd. address in Frazeysburg on a report of domestic violence. Judy Woodruff was charged with domestic violence.
9/28/17 - An officer was dispatched to an Old Delaware Rd. address on a complaint of a disturbance. When the officer arrived on the scene, the complainant stated here step father was intoxicated and arguing with her mother, Jamie Dixon. The step father was warned about his conduct. Dixon was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant.
