9/29/17 - At approximately 11:34 A.M. an officer responded to a Prospect St address on a reported parking complaint. When the officer arrived on the scene he talked to the complainant who said her father would not remove his vehicle from her property. A written statement was made and a report written. A four-hour wait was issued. Complainant will contact dispatch to have the vehicle removed.

9/29/17 - A shoplifting was reported to the MVPD from Hibbett Sports on Coshocton Road. According to the report miscellaneous clothing valued at over $13,000 was taken. 

9/29/17 - An officer was dispatched to a W. Vine St. residence on a report of a theft. When the officer arrived he spoke to the complainant who said sometime overnight someone stole the license plates from her vehicle, number HFC5964. The investigation is pending and this report will be supplemented with further information.

9/29/17 - At 4:27 P.M. an officer was dispatched to a McGibney Rd address on a report of trespassing The complainant advised the officer that the suspect was given a no trespass order. Kimberly S. Frech was arrested for a probation violation. Frech was taken into custody and transported to the Knox County Jail.

9/29/17 - An officer responded to a Shalimar Dr. address in reference to an assault complaint. When the officer arrived he spoke with all the parties involved. The victim stated that he wanted to pursue charged against the suspect for assaulting him. The officer advised the suspect that this report will be forwarded to the city prosecutor for review. Nothing else to report at this time.

9/30/217 - At approximately 12:11 A.M. an officer responded to a N. Mechanic St. residence in reference to vandalism The officer talked to Kevin Curtis who was walking down the alley away from the residence. Curtis said he was arguing with his girlfriend and was walking home. Upon investigation Curtis was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail. This report will be forwarded to the Mount Vernon Police Detective Division and the Mount Vernon Fire Department Investigator.

9/30/17 - At 1:17 P.M. an officer responded to a Follin Ave. address on a theft from vehicle complaint, When the officer arrived he spoke to the complainant. A written statement was obtained from the victim who stated that a Verizon tablet was taken from the vehicle. The suspect is unknown at this time. The investigation has been closed and will be re-opened if a suspect and/or any leads are developed.

9/29/17 - An officer responded to a McGibney Rd. address on a report of a disturbance. When the officer arrived he spoke to the complainant who stated that a female had been banned from the complex but had returned and was yelling at one of the residents. A witness statement was taken and a report made.

10/1/17 - While on bike patrol, an officer noticed a tent in the woods behind Foundation Park. The officer made contact with a male who was advised of the violation he had committed. A written warning for criminal trespass was issued. He was given 24 hours to vacate and clean the area.

10/1/17 - An officer responded to a Coshocton Ave, business on a shoplifting complaint. When the officer arrived he spoke to the complainant and a female was taken into custody. Written statements, photographs and a receipt were obtained. Bond for this arrest was set at $7,500 because the suspect is an out-of-state resident.

9/29/17 - Paula Popham, 36, Zanesville, was cited for driving under suspension/revocation and charged with theft.

9/29/17 - Anthony Morton, 32, Cottage St. was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

9/29/17 - Kimberley Frech, 49, McGibney Rd. was arrested on a probation violation holder.

9/30/217 - Kevin Courts, 44, N. Sandusky St. was arrested and charged with domestic violence.

9/30/17 - Sidney Cornell, 41, W. Curtis St. was arrested and charged with theft.

9/30/17 - Mark Chun, 27, North, OH. was cited for reckless operation on a public street.

9/30/17 - Robert Doyle, 34, E. Ohio Ave. arrest on an outstanding warrant.

9/30/17 - Dustin Runyon, 32, E. Chestnut was cited for driving under FRA suspension.

9/30/17 - Andrew Barber, 29, Greer St. was cited for driving under FRA suspension and for expired or unlawful license plates.

9/30/17 - Jennifer Blankenship, 39, N. Mulberry St. was cited for letting an unlicensed drive to drive.

9/30/17 - Charles Beeman, 35, N. Mulberry St. was cited for driving under FRA suspension and for expired or unlawful plates.

10/1/17 - Bridget McElroy, 35, Eastmoor Ave, was cited for failure to transfer registration and for failure to display valid license plates.

10/1/17 - Valerie Diaz-Riveria, 40, Progreso, TX, was arrested for theft.

10/1/17 - Jessey Thompson, 27, Brooklawn Dr. was cited for driving under FRA suspension.

9/29/17 - Marie L. Duty was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of probation. Duty was transported to the Knox County jail without incident,

9/30/17 - David R, Butts who had multiple warrants for failure to appear and violation of a protection order, was reported by the complainant to be at home. Officers went to the residence on Martinsburg Rd. in Martinsburg, arrested Butts and transported him to the Knox County jail.

10/2/17 - An officer arrived on the scene of an incident and spoke to the complainant. She advised that sometime Sunday night and early Monday morning, person(s) unknown broke out two basement windows at the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church and entered the church. The officer checked the church and found that candy and drinks had been consumed. The complainant also advised that and American flag had been taken along with the brass eagle that adorned the top if the flag pole. The complainant also advised she had found vulgarities written on a marker board inside the church. Two names, Ben and Tammy, were also written on the board. A report was written and photographs taken.

10/1/17 - The complainant advised that the house she was moving out of had the garage door kicked in. The complainant said several items were taken from the house. A report was made.
