10/3/17 - An officer responded to a call from Dr. Ogle's office on S. Mulberry St. on a found drug complaint. When the officer arrived he spoke to the complainant who gave him a small package of methamphetamine that had been found in the parking lot. The package was secured in an evidence locker at the MVPD to be destroyed later. There is no suspect at this time and the investigation has been closed.
10/3/17 - While officers were investigation a crash in the area of the 400 block of N. Main St., several drug related items were found. These items included a scale, a baggie with marijuana, a plastic container with stems, a white case with a glass pipe, and a cloth with glass pipe. These items were placed into evidence for safe keeping. There is nothing further to report at this time.
10/4/17 - An employee of a Coshocton Ave. business reported a shoplifting to the MVPD. When an officer arrived on the scene, the employee said he had observed a male, identified as Daniel Walton, concealing merchandise while in the store. Walton was then observed going into the bathroom then coming out without the merchandise. Walton was stopped by the employee after passing all points of sale. The concealed merchandise included a Phillips Norelco one blade trim and a Wahl clipper kit. The merchandise was recovered and Walton admitted to the employee that he had stolen the items. Walton was arrested for petty theft and transported to the Knox County Jail.
10/4/17 - An officer responded to a Coshocton Ave, business of a report of a male suspected of shoplifting. When the officer arrived he found that Loss Prevention personnel had detained Rocky L. Parsons. The recovered items included 2 DVDs, which Parsons had removed from the packaging and a package of lithium batteries. The total value of the items was $65.97. Parsons was arrested and charged with petty theft. He was also charged with criminal trespassing because he had been banned from the store in January 2017 following another shoplifting incident. A copy of the surveillance video was included with this report. Parsons was transported to the Knox County Jail. Any new information will be supplemented to this report.
10/4/17 - Daniel Walton, 24, homeless, was arrested and charged with theft.
10/3/17 - Montana Huvler. 25. Fredericktown, was cited for failure to give the right of way when turning left.
