On 6-2-17, an officer was investigating a report of a suspicious person in the area of The Salvation Army on Howard St. when he observed Andrew Wilson who had an outstanding warrant. The officer made contact with Wilson and arrested him. He was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
On 6-2-17, an officer was dispatched to Donely Ford on a report of a stolen truck. The complainant advised that sometime after 4-028-17, unknown person(s) removed a 2013 Red Ford F150 extended cab pickup truck from the lot. VIN number is 1FTFXDFQA13320. There are no known identifiers on the truck. A report was taken and the vehicle was entered into LEADS.
On 6-2-17, an officer was dispatched to the MVPD station on a found bag of marijuana. The bag was placed into evidence to be destroyed later. There is nothing further to report.
On 6-2-17, an officer met with a female who reported her vehicle, a 2004 Saturn Vue, had been stolen between 11:00 pm the night before and 6:00 am that morning. The complainant stated the car was not locked and the keys were in the center console. The vehicle was entered into LEADS as stolen. The complainant advised she does want to pursue charges.
On 6-2-17, an officer responded to a N. Park St. address on a report of a found hypodermic syringe. The complainant stated he found the syringe in the area of N. Park and E. Sugar streets. The syringe was secured in the sharps container in car #6.There is nothing further to report.
On 6-2-17, An officer responded to a W. Burgess St. address in reference to a found hypodermic syringe.The complainant stated he repossessed a vehicle and found the syringe on the driver's side floor. The needle was secured in the sharps container of car #6. The officer inspected the vehicle but found no other syringes or drug paraphernalia.
On 6-2-17, units were dispatched to the area ofMiaml and Oberlin streets. on a report of a rolling domestic dispute. The complainant reported the male pulled his Jeep over in the street and was beating the female. A second call was also received concerning the situation. The second complainant stated the male's face was covered with blood and he was spitting out blood. An officer was able to make contact with the two combatants, Richard E. Dailey and Brandy Orndorff on Oberlin St. Both individuals were arrested and charges of assault were filed.
On 6-2-17, an officer was dispatched to Baker's IGA on S. Main St. in reference to a shoplifting. The complainant stated that a male took a box of Little Debbie snacks and a can of Coca-Cola. The suspect was not able to be located. The investigation is open and will be supplemented if any new information is available.
On 6-3-17, an officer was dispatched to 702 E. High St. on the report of a theft of chainsaws. The officer spoke to the complainant who completed a written statement, a report was taken and an investigation is pending.
On 6-3-17, an officer was dispatched to Walmart on a report of a female shoplifter detained in the LP office. The officer made contact with the female suspect who was issued a summons for theft and criminal trespass.
On 6-4-17, an officer was dispatched to Town Center on N. Sandusky St. Complainant stated two cans of beer were stolen. The investigation continues.
On 6-4-17, an officer was investigating suspicious activity in the 300 block of Walnut St and observed two males going through a vehicle.The vehicle was found to have drug paraphernalia inside and was impounded as it was abandoned on private property and the property requested it be removed.
On 6-4-17, an officer responded to a Taylor Rd, address on a theft complaint. The complainant alleged that someone stole his Johnson 4HP boat motor off of his boat. The suspect is unknown at this time. The investigation is closed at this time but will be re-opened if any leads or suspects are developed.

On 6-3-17, Dennis DeWitt, 39i, Clinton Rd. was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
On 6-3-127, Connie Blubaugh, 30, Ringold St. was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and theft.
On 6-3-17, James Dowalter, 46, N. Norton St. was arrested on an arrest warrant and cited for driving under suspension/revocation.
On 6-3-17, Marjorie Stine 51, Cliff St. was cited for starting and backing without safety and for failure to stop after a crash/other than on the street.
On 6-3-17, Lucas Ferguson, 26, Howard, was arrested on an arrest warrant.

On 6-4-17, Michael Scarbury, 33, Crestview Dr. was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.
On 6-2-17, while traveling northbound on N. Gay St. Terry L. Musser turned eastbound on E. Chestnut St. This caused his trailer to strike the crosswalk light, breaking it. Musser was cited for having an oversize/overweight vehicle on local streets.
On 6-2-17, William Bates was stopped eastbound on Coshocton Ave. when it was struck in the rear by Jordan M. Wilson who was also eastbound on Coshocton Ave.
On 6-2-17, while traveling westbound on Coshocton Ave. Mary J. Kuehner failed to stop and struck the rear of Patricia L. Fry who was then pushed onto the rear Jenna N. Oliver. Fry and Oliver were both stopped on Coshocton Ave, facing westbound prior to the accident. Ku4ehner stated her brakes malfunctioned causing the accident. Kuehner was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
On 6-3-17, Joseph Lee Pittinger was traveling eastbound on Coshocton Ave. and stopped for a traffic light. Dennis M.DeWitt was traveling eastbound on Coshocton Ave. behind Pittinger and failed to stop for the traffic light hitting Pittinger in the rear end.
On 6-3-17, A vehicle owned by Ari Fleet Ltd. was parked and Rebecca A. Larimore backed from a parking position and struck the parked vehicle.
On 6-3-17, Marjorie L. Stine was backing out of a parking spot on W. Vine St. and struck the back of a vehicle owned by Craig E. Reichman, which was also parked in the parking lot. Stine left the scene but was later located at her residence. Stine was cited for starting and backing a vehicle without safety.
