Joshua White, 28, of Circleville was cited at 11:35 a.m. on Monday for running a red-light.
Tracey Miller, 47, of Ashley was cited at 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday for driving under a suspended license.
Angel Campos, 36, of Hamilton was cited at 8:40 a.m. on Tuesday for operating a vehicle without a license.
Gregory Dennis, 19, Mount Vernon was cited at 8:10 p.m. on Tuesday for failing to assure a clear driving-distance ahead.
At 2:20 p.m. on Friday, Angela J. Van Winkle, 53, of Mount Vernon was in her 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer heading westbound on E. Chestnut Street. Trenton J. Hagans, 23, of Bladensburg was immediately behind him in his 2004 Ford Ranger. When Van Winkle stopped for traffic just past McKenzie Street, Hagans followed suit but his foot slipped off the clutch and he rear-ended Van Winkle’s vehicle. Hagans was cited for the incident.
At 11:35 a.m. on Monday, Joshua S. White, 28, of Circleville was heading southbound on S. Main Street in his 2006 BMW. Dean R. Simmons, 71, of Fredericktown was heading eastbound on E. Gambier Street in his Mercury Marquis. At the intersection of those streets, White failed to stop at the red-light and collided with Simmons’s vehicle. White was cited for the incident.
At 4:15 p.m. on Friday, a victim reported the theft of a window air-conditioner from a residence on the 100-block of N. Mechanic Street. A suspect was identified. Three syringe caps, a glass pipe with burnt residue, two small bags with white residue, and a small bag containing a clear crystal substance were collected as evidence.
At 8:10 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to a reported assault at a residence on the 600-block of W. Vine Street.
At 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, officers were dispatched to a reported disturbance at a residence on the 200-block of Cottage Street. A suspect was identified and a summons was issued for disorderly conduct.
At 12:25 p.m. on Monday, officers were dispatched to an apartment on the 300-block of E. Ohio Avenue on a report of domestic violence. A suspect, Timothy Mongitore, was arrested and charged.
At 6:20 p.m. on Monday, a victim reported the theft of a Hayward pool pump and filtration system from a residence on the 600-block of N. McKenzie Street.
MOUNT VERNON - The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to identify two suspects involved in cashing fraudulent checks at the Killbuck Bank locations in Howard and Danville on Tuesday May 24, 2016 around 3:00pm. MOUNT VERNON – Three defendants were sentenced Friday by Judge Otho Eyster in the Knox County Court of Common Pleas.
Terry T. Barker, 35, of Columbus, was sentenced for Possession of Cocaine, a third-degree felony, and Possession of Heroin, a fourth-degree felony. Barker was charged as the result of a traffic stop. Barker will serve 30 months of mandatory time for the possession of cocaine, and 17 months concurrently for the possession of heroin. Barker has previously been convicted for multiple counts of possession of drugs, weapons under disability, and trafficking in surrounding counties.
William A. Lemaster, 45, of Centerburg, was resentenced for OVI after violating the conditions of his community control. This was Lemaster’s sixth drunk driving conviction in twenty years. He was sentenced to 17 months in prison and ordered to pay court costs.
Dane E. Ferenbaugh, 34, of Fredericktown, was sentenced for Possession of Heroin, a fifth-degree felony. Ferenbaugh was given three years of community control, a six month license suspension. He must also get a drug and alcohol assessment and submit to drug and alcohol use monitoring. Eleven months of prison has been suspended.
