On 6-12-17, an officer responded to an East Gambier address on a suspicious person complaint. Upon arrival, the office spoke to the individual involved. An item was seized at that time to be processed back to the Bureau ofr Motor Vehicles. The investigation has been closed and no charges are expected to be filed.
On 6-12-17, two officers responded to thew Goodwill store on Coshocton Ave., on a report of a female trespassing in Goodwill's dumpster.
On 6-13-17, four officers were dispatched to a North McKenzie St. address on a report of a burglary. Warrants are going to be issued ands a report given to the felony prosecutor for review.
On 6-10-17, Timothy Carper, 19, Bone Rd.was arrested and charged with obstructing official business.
On 6-11-17, Timothy Heimsworth, 39, W. Gambier St. was arrested and charged with theft, drug paraphernalia, and obstructing official business.
On 6-11-17, Kirk Moss, 23, McManis Rd. was cited for expired or unlawful plates.
On 6-12-17, Annamay Riveres, 40, W. High St. was cited for driving under suspensioin/revocation.
On 6-12-17, Rebecca Liming, 20, N. Main St.was cited for changing lanes without safetry and for expired or unlawful plates.

On 6-12-17, Shawn Hamilton, 25, Cottage St. was arrested and cited for driving or physical control while under the influence and driving or physical control while under the influence
On 6-13-17, Danielle Reynolds, 27, Grandview dr. was arrested for criminal trespass.
On 6-13-17, John Lowe, 36, Howard St. charged with drug abuse and for marijuana drug paraphernalia.
On 6-13-17, Christopher Birchfield, 21, Follin Ave. was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

On 6-9-17, an officer was locking the Depot at 501 S. Main St.when he noticed chalk writing on the bench by the Depot. He also looked and saw what appeared to be fake blood or paint on the table. The material was also thrown on the side if the building and on the ground. The officer took photos of the vandalism.
On 6-9-17, an officer responded to a West Burgess St. address on a report of domestic violence. Upon arrival, the officer spoke to the complainant who was transported to KnoxCommunity Hospital as a result of her injuries. A written statement was given to the complainant. Charges for domestic violence were issued as well as a warrant for the suspect. The suspect has not been located as of the writing of this report,
On 6-9-17, an officer responded to a N. Catherine St. address on a report of found property. Upon arrival, the officer spoke to the complainant who stated he was weeding when he found a gun wrapped in a white jacket. The gun was secured into evidence and a report was taken. A written statement was completed. There is no investigation at this time.
On 6-9-17, An officer was dispatched to a Lamartine St. address on a report of an unruly juvenile. The officer spoke to the mother who said here son was being unruly. A report was taken.
On 6-9-17, an officer responded to a N. Catherine St. address on a reported robbery. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the complainant who told the officer her son had been beaten up and robbed of his cell phone. Three suspects fled the area. A witness statement was completed. An investigation is pending.
On 6-9-17, an officer was dispatched to a Parrott St. address on a report of two suspicious people. Upon arrival, the complainant said that the individuals had left and also told the officer that they found four Suboxone strips. The strips were confiscated and placed into an evidence locker to be destroyed.
On 6-9-17, an officer was dispatched to a S. Gay St. address in reference to a person inside an apartment that was supposed to be empty. When the officer arrived on the scene, he found the apartment to be unsecured. Two officers cleared the apartment but did not find anyone inside. The officers were unable to secure the apartment because the only lock on the door was a deadbolt lock. Dispatch called the complainant to advise the apartment could not be secured by the officers.
On 6-10-17, at approximately 5:47, units were on bike patrol in the area of North Norton and Marion streets and observed two individuals making a firm handoff while walking towards the officers. The officer immediately conducted a traffic stop with the individuals. The investigation continues.
On 6-10-17, an officer was dispatched to a Coshocton Ave. address on a report of a theft. The complainant reported that unknown persons removed the central air conditioning unit during the night A report was taken.
On 6-10-17, an officer responded to a Sou5th Norton St. address on a report of vandalism. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the complainant who said there were various signs damaged and graffiti markings throughout the park, (Foundation Park) there are no suspects at this time.
On 6-10-17, an officer responded to an East Lamartine St. address on a report of a found backpack. Upon arrival, the officer spoke to the complainant and took the backpack as found property. A report was taken.
On 6-10-17, an officer was dispatched to the Pleasant Street School on a report of vandalism. Upon arrival, the officer noticed a front slide had been spray painted and said “ICE UP.” The officer also noticed a front set of stairs on the play set had been spray painted with the words, GANG.” Another slide had obscene words and images painted on it.
On 6-10-17, an officer received a complaint of trespassing at a residence on Howard St. The complainant advised he had served a no trespass letter to a subject and then found that he was at that residence. A statement was taken from a witness. A report was to be forwarded to the City Law Director’s Office.
On 6-11-17, an officer spoke on the phone with a female who wanted to report the theft of money. The female is the legal guardian of her brother and that he had $100 taken from him. The complainant believes the money was taken by an aid. The complainant requested a report to send to the state.

On 6-9-17, Michael Anthony Waldrup was parked westbound in the Mount Vernon High School parking lot. Conner Lee Dailey was traveling southbound in the MVHS parking lot. Waldrup proceeded to back out of his parking space without checking for oncoming traffic and backed into the right side of Dailey. Waldrup was cited for failure to control.
On 6-9-17, Charla Johnson, Renee Ward, and Mathew Boudinot were traveling southbound on Newark Rd. Ward and Boudinot stopped for stalled traffic ahead. Johnson failed to stop hitting Ward in the rear-end pushing her into the rear end of Boudinot. Johnson was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
On 6-10-17, Bertha G. Hays was parked southbound in a driveway on East Burgess St. Emily R. Merritt was parked eastbound along the roadway. Hays backed northwest bound out of the driveway and failed to see Merritt, hitting Merritt on the right side. Hays was cited for starting and backing without safety.
On 6-10-17, Edward C. Hysong, Jr. was traveling southbound on Mansfield Ave, Thomas R. Griffith was backing out if a driveway and struck Hysong. Griffith was cited for starting and backing without safety.
