Arrests and Charges: 

Renee Custer, 30, of Howard was charged at around 9:30 a.m. on September 10, 2014 with shoplifting from the Wal-Mart.

Simon Boucher, 31, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 5:30 p.m. on September 12, 2014 for domestic violence.

Ellen Clark, 61, of Mount Vernon was charged at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday with shoplifting.


Traffic Citations:

Samantha Mele, 22, of Mount Vernon was cited at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday for driving under a suspended license.



At 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Donald L. Coey, 47, of Johnstown was travelling northbound on Industrial Park Roadway in a 2014 Nissan NV250 truck.  Matthew C. Bangert, 23, of Reynoldsburg was immediately behind him in his 2007 Subaru Impreza.  When Coey stopped for a stop-sign, Bangert slid in the snow and rear-ended Coey’s vehicle.  



At 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, an employee of Concepts in Community Living requested an officer regarding an alleged assault at the facility.  A suspect was identified.

Just before 9:10 a.m. on Tuesday, an Mount Vernon Nazarene University student reported that, sometime in the early part of March 2014, someone had stolen a Playstation 4 and controller—still in the box—from under the bed in his apartment.  He filed a report with the Campus Safety office in March but had not done so with the MVPD until now.  A suspect was identified.

At 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, a victim reported an act of domestic violence alleged to have been committed at an apartment on the 100-block of E. Sugar Street.  A suspect was identified.

At 11:55 a.m. on Tuesday, an 84-year-old victim reported that her identity had been fraudulently used.  A PayPal account was involved.

At 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wal-Mart security reported they had apprehended a shoplifter.  A suspect was identified and a 24” level and two gray sweatshirts were recovered.
