Arrests and Charges:
Donna Sapp, 29, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 2:50 p.m. on Wednesday for a probation violation.
Tawni Osterman, 32, of Howard was arrested at 2:50 p.m. on Wednesday for a probation violation.

Austin Hinson, 21, of Howard was cited at 1:05 a.m. on Thursday for operating a vehicle while under the influence.
Macey Doyon, 23, of Mount Vernon was cited at 4:35 p.m. on Thursday for driving under a suspended license and for failing to assure a clear driving-distance ahead.
At 7:45 a.m. on Thursday, Jill A. Ross, 67, of Danville was heading southbound on N. Sandusky Street in her 2013 Ford Escape. Cameron R. McWatters, 16, of Bellville was immediately behind her in a 2004 Chevy Captiva. When Ross stopped for traffic near W. Burgess Street, McWatters rear-ended her.
At 8:35 a.m. on Thursday, Taylor Thomas, 18, of Mount Vernon was westbound on E. Chestnut Street in her 2005 Toyota Corolla. When she started down the hill near Edgewood Road, she lost control, spun around, and slid off the north side of the road. Thomas stated that she was there for about five minutes when Jerry L. Blair, 29, of Mount Vernon came down the hill in his 2001 Chrysler Cruiser, lost control, slid off the road, and sideswiped her vehicle. Blair stated that he had slid off the road and hit Thomas’s vehicle but that ANOTHER vehicle had come by a few minutes later, slid, spun around, and struck the right side of Thomas’s Corolla. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Blubaugh’s Garage.
At 4:35 p.m. on Thursday, Terrance D. Jones, Sr., 37, of Youngstown was heading eastbound on E. High Street in a 2001 box-truck. When he stopped at the stop light at the N. McKenzie Street intersection, Macey N. Doyon, 23, of Mount Vernon approached from behind in her 2005 Hyundai Accent, failed to stop, and rear-ended Jones’s vehicle. Doyon was cited for the incident.
At 11:35 a.m. on Thursday, a victim reported the theft of 75 Vicodin tablets and an unknown number of Clonazepam tablets from his residence on the 000-block of Pine Street.
At 2:50 p.m. on Thursday, Knox County Juvenile Probation authorities requested an officer’s assistance.
At 7:20 p.m. on Thursday, an officer responded to a report of a unsecured door at I-Care Vision on Coshocton Avenue.
