At 4:05 a.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to an alarm at Hunnicut’s Jewelry & Repair on S. Main Street. Upon arrival, they found that a large landscaping stone had been thrown through the front window of the business. The business-owner was contacted and responded to the scene. With the officers, he determined that damage was limited to the broken windows. Photos were taken of the damage.
At 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, a victim reported the theft of 88 Percocet tablets and 88 Xanax tablets from a residence on the 200-block of E. Ohio Avenue.
At 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, a victim reported an incident of telecommunication harassment. A suspect was identified.
At 7:35 p.m. on Wednesday, an individual turned in a black wallet containing, among other things, a Florida driver’s license. It was found in a parking lot on E. Gambier Street and the owner had not yet been contacted at the time of the report.
Arrests and Charges:
Cory Griffith, 19, of Fredericktown was charged at 7:00 a.m. on Friday with telephone harassment.
