MOUNT VERNON - The MVHS Varsity golf team ended its season with an awards dinner October 22 in the high school cafeteria.  First year head coach Aaron Hale said sophomore Connor Curry was the Most Valuable Player this season. Freshman Chase Ferguson was named Rookie of the Year and senior Colin Lybarger received the Coaches Award.  Curry qualified to compete in the District tournament for Division I earlier this month.

This year's JV Golf team was coached by former head coach Mike Fuller. The team had an up and down year and is looking forward to next season.
