MOUNT VERNON – The Heritage Centre Association (HCA) is partnering with First-Knox National Bank to host a chocolate walk downtown on Saturday, February 13, 2016. The event will consist of participating business and customer involvement through a fun, Valentine’s day-themed event involving many different tastes and forms of chocolate.
The event will start at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and will last throughout the day and into the early evening hours until stores close. HCA and First-Knox National Bank are providing an opportunity for all customers to be entered to win a $50 Visa gift card by participating in the social media presence of the event. To be entered, customers must take a picture with their chocolate at any participating shop and post the picture to social media using the hashtag #MTVchocolatewalk. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, February 16, 2016.

In addition to the Chocolate Walk, the HCA is partnering with Young Ohio Preservationists to promote historical buildings in Heart Bomb Ohio. Participants are encouraged to take their picture with the Valentine that the participating stores will display or go to one of two special Heart Bomb locations, the C. A. & C. Depot or Shakti-fit (the I.O.O.F. building), to take their picture. Post this picture with the hashtags #MTVchocolatewalk and #Heartbombohio to be entered to win an umbrella as well as the gift card.
